I am primarily interested in (1) the psychological processes that drive people’s interactions during moral and political engagement online, and (2) how digital environments shape the expression of emotions like moral outrage. My dissertation focuses on how moral ideas spread in social networks. I employ multiple methodologies that include social media data, behavioral data, and psychophysiological data. I work primarily with Jay Van Bavel in the Social Perception and Evaluation Lab. Starting Fall 2018, I will work as a post-doc with Molly Crockett in the Crockett Lab.
